Installation Fence Integrated Letterbox

Our Fence-Integrated Letterbox installation involves cutting through your fence panel — whether it’s timber, Colorbond, garrison, or PVC — to recess the letterbox neatly into the structure, with secure internal fixings and a flush finish installed at the correct mail delivery height.

Fence-integrated letterboxes offer a clean, built-in finish by recessing the unit directly into your fence, creating a minimalist, space-saving solution that blends seamlessly into the front boundary. The process involves cutting a cavity through the fence panel, inserting the letterbox body, and bolting the front and rear panels together internally.

While this installation is commonly done in timber picket or slat fencing, our team is also experienced in fitting these boxes into Colorbond panels, PVC fences, and garrison-style steel fencing, using appropriate techniques for each material. Installation generally takes 1 to 1.5 hours and is completed at the standard 900–1200mm mail slot height to comply with postal requirements.

For Superior letterboxes, we also custom fabricate mounting flanges and angle trims in-house to ensure a tight, polished fit — far cleaner than relying on generic brackets or cutting the fence to suit.
