Is a premium material renowned for its durability, clean aesthetic, and exceptional resistance to corrosion—especially in coastal or exposed environments.
Thanks to its molybdenum content, it performs exceptionally well against salt air, moisture, and pollution, making it ideal for seaside homes or modern architectural projects.
With a sleek brushed finish, it can be laser cut, etched, or vinyl printed to suit a wide range of styles.
While it carries a higher upfront cost than standard metals, its longevity and low maintenance make it a worthwhile investment for signage built to last.
Offers a bold, reflective finish that instantly elevates any home façade, while delivering outstanding durability in coastal conditions.
Its high-gloss surface creates a sleek, modern look, ideal for premium properties near the ocean or in architecturally designed spaces.
Resistant to salt, moisture, and pollution, this material is both practical and eye-catching.
While it requires a bit more care to maintain its shine and can show smudges or scratches more readily, its visual impact and corrosion resistance make it a top-tier choice for luxury signage that lasts.
Combine sleek design with rugged outdoor performance.
Made from corrosion-resistant aluminium and finished in a durable powder coat, these signs are built to withstand Australia’s toughest weather while offering full customisation in colour and design.
Most are laser-cut to reveal your address through bold, clean cut-outs, paired with a coloured backing plate for maximum contrast.
Although they sit at a higher price point, their premium appearance, low maintenance, and long life make them a standout option for modern homes and coastal properties.
Laser Cutting, Laser Etching and Vinyl Lettering are the three methods we use to add text to our Letterbox Plates and House Signs. Each has it's own charm so choose the one that appeals most to you.
Offers a bold, architectural finish by cutting your address or design cleanly through metal faceplates or signage panels.
Using high-precision laser technology, this method delivers crisp, sharp edges with minimal post-processing—perfect for pairing with a contrasting backing plate to enhance visibility.
It’s ideal for premium applications where durability, style, and customisation are key.
While laser cutting involves higher equipment costs and is best suited to materials under 25mm thick, the end result is a sleek, low-maintenance design that’s built to last and withstand the elements.
Is a precise and permanent method used to mark stainless steel house signs and letterbox faceplates with crisp, high-contrast detail.
Using advanced fiber laser technology, this process lightly melts the surface of the metal to create clean, custom text in tones of black, white, or grey—without the need for paints or adhesives. Ideal for both brushed and mirror-polished stainless steel, laser etching delivers a sleek, professional finish that won’t peel or fade.
While occasional cleaning helps maintain contrast, it’s a low-maintenance solution for homeowners seeking long-lasting, refined signage.
Offers a simple yet stylish way to personalise your home, letterbox, or parcel box.
Made from durable, commercial-grade vinyl, these decals are fully customisable in colour, size, and font, making them a versatile choice for any smooth surface.
Whether you prefer matte black for stainless steel, reflective white for darker backgrounds, or a bold pop of colour, there’s a finish to suit every style.
Easy to apply and built to withstand the elements, vinyl decals are a cost-effective option for achieving a sleek, modern look—without the need for engraving or mounting hardware.
All of our Stainless Steel plates are Marine Grade 316 so they won’t rust, however regular cleaning is essential to keep the plate looking its best especially if you’re living near the coast.
Keeping the plate clean with regular cleaning will help prevent tea staining which can occur even on Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel, particularly in coastal areas, and is not covered by warranty.
Start with cleaning weekly for the first month, fortnightly for 6 months, then once a month thereafter or whenever dirty.

ASSDA FAQ 6: Technical notes on Tea-staining
ASSDA FAQ 2: Cleaning your indoor Stainless Steel
Polished stainless steel should only be cleaned with a soft cloth and some water.
To remove marks or stains on brushed stainless steel, clean with a good quality stainless steel cleaner. Spray the cleaner into a soft cloth and polish the stainless steel gently in the direction of the grain, taking care to use minimally around any laser etching.
When tea staining occurs, using car polish on a soft cloth does a good job if caught early enough. It shouldn't fade the etching if applied directly, but it's best to minimise contact with if possible. If the tea staining is quite bad, try using stainless steel polish but use carefully as it can fade the etching. Then use a good quality protectant like Inox or a silicone spray.
The best way to remove marks or stains from powdercoated aluminium plates is with mild detergent, water and a soft cloth.
At Aussie Clotheslines & Letterboxes, we provide the additional service of installing your custom faceplate after we have designed and fabricated them for you.
This process entails having one of our experienced installers use industrial adhesive to fix your new plate to the wall or surface of your choice before sealing around the edge of the plate for weather protection.
Alternatively, for DIY installation, our industrial adhesive can be purchased separately: Soudal Fix All Turbo Adhesive
